Missions:
The recent development of standardization has been characterized by a significant impetus given to international standardization within a new context that has gradually emerged due to globalization.
With the globalization of markets and the acceleration of technological changes, standardization and certification have become tools for economic actors to develop trade.
In this context, IANOR’s role is to lead this standardization activity, meet the expectations of economic stakeholders, and anticipate the evolution of their needs.
IANOR has formed an experienced, multidisciplinary team built around four main areas of expertise to serve companies and public authorities by:
1. Develop Standards Requested by Economic Actors
IANOR assists socio-economic stakeholders in developing the normative standards required for their strategic and commercial growth. This is achieved by facilitating their access to the standardization process, providing relevant information, and offering support services.
2. Facilitate Access to Normative Standards
IANOR designs and continuously enhances a range of targeted information products and services, utilizing the most recent technological platforms.
3. Support the Implementation of Normative Standards
Through training, auditing, consulting, and advisory services, IANOR helps organizations integrate a standards-based approach and continuous improvement methodologies into both their strategic planning and daily operations.
4. Provide Certification Services
In an increasingly competitive marketplace, product certification has become a significant commercial and marketing asset, especially for increasingly informed consumers. IANOR offers a product certification (the TEDJ Mark), based on Algerian normative standards.
These missions involve IANOR across all economic sectors, including new technologies, where new standards are shaping the world of tomorrow.
Our Vision
1. Enhance the Performance of the Algerian Standardization System
This initiative encompasses a series of actions, ranging from improved planning of work and reducing the cost and time required for standard development, to adapting standardization activities to the priority needs of the market and society, notably through impact studies.
2. Further Mobilize All Standardization Partners
This mobilization involves identifying objectives and challenges, defining priorities, engaging experts in new sectors, welcoming new partners, and ensuring a balanced distribution of workloads and funding.
3. Ensure the Competitiveness and Influence of the Algerian Standardization System in the Arab and International Context
IANOR must be influential within Arab and international standardization bodies and make a strong contribution based on the strategic issues and positions defined at the national level in Algeria.
4. Promote the Economic and Strategic Dimension of Standardization and Certification
This effort is based on active dialogue with all socio-economic and institutional partners, focusing on the development of new value-added products and services, as well as awareness-raising and communication campaigns.
