The Algerian Institute of Standardization (IANOR) is the national standards body and plays an essential role in the development of Algeria’s economic activity.
In the context of globalization, the Algerian economy must rely on a robust standardization and conformity assessment system to meet the demands of international competitiveness.
In this regard, IANOR affirms its commitment to strengthening its role by providing economic operators with its full capacity for attentive service, monitoring, and information dissemination in the field of standardization.
To achieve its objectives, IANOR has developed four main areas of activity:
- Standardization:development, publication, and dissemination of standards; conformity assessment procedures; and contribution to the development of Algerian Technical Regulations (RTA).
- Conformity Assessment(certification of products, personnel, systems, and services);
- Information and Documentation Managementin the field of standardization;
- Trainingfor companies and public administrations.
IANOR’s effectiveness is measured by its ability to consistently deliver competitive services and products.
To this end, IANOR has decided to make quality and the fight against corruption two key pillars of its management strategy, specifically referencing the NA ISO 9001 and NA ISO 37001 standards.
IANOR tolerates no form of corruption, in accordance with national and international legislation.
The continuous improvement of the management system is considered a key lever for enabling IANOR to achieve efficiency.
Le système de management de l’IANOR s’appuie sur une politique articulée autour des principaux axes suivants :
- Implement a system for client liaison and information dissemination capable of effectively addressing client requirements;
- Meet client requirements by delivering services that conform to their expectations and are provided on time;
- Contribute to consumer protection in the areas of health, safety, and environment by accrediting product certification activities according to NA ISO/IEC 17065;
- Strengthen confidence in standards by engaging all relevant stakeholders to promote their effective use;
- Enhance competencies, ensure internal communication, and evolve the organization for improved mastery of developed activities.
- Integrate corruption prevention through the implementation of an anti-corruption management system.
This policy will be translated into objectives at all levels of the institute and will be periodically reviewed to ensure its continued relevance to its purpose and client expectations.
Meeting the requirements of its clients and partners is achieved through the shared commitment of all IANOR staff to the values of quality and the fight against corruption.
Any violation, actual or suspected, of anti-corruption procedures, regulations, or this policy must be immediately reported to the Institute’s Compliance Officer via the email address [anticorruption@ianor.dz].
IANOR guarantees that no employee will be punished, dismissed, demoted, suspended, or discriminated against in any manner
